HSBC Denies Wrongdoing in Recruiting SVB Staff

HSBC HOLDINGS denied wrongdoing in hiring former employees of $SVB Financial(SIVBQ.US)$ , as the First Citizens Bank & Trust Co. accused HSBC of poaching 42 SVB staff two weeks after acquiring the defunct regional lender, as well as mishandling confidential and trade secret information of SVB, foreign media reported.
