HPE will acquire Juniper Networks for $14 billion
$Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE.US$ $Juniper Networks(JNPR.US$ Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced late Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Juniper Networks in an all-cash deal for $40 a share. The transaction is worth about $14 billion.

Shares of Juniper, which hit a 52-week high during Tuesday's session, added 0.6% in after-hours action. HPE shares ticked down by 0.3%. In regular trading, Juniper soared nearly 22%, while HPE shed close to 9%.
