How to decide on the stock for me?

First Trade
The first stock traded turned out to be better than expected because I sold for profit. I wasn't happy because the trade was not investment but more like gambling. This is because I follow blindly trying to time the market and what followed that was bad trading fueled with greed and fear.
Write Journal
I decided to learn as much as I can about investment especially on how to overcome emotional trading. Moomoo provided me with easy to learn short courses. I started to write journal to record and reflect my investment experience using Moomoo sharing features. The reward system and liked-minded mooers also help to motivate me to learn.
Moomoo and liked-minded Mooers
Through learning (from other sources) I realised that there were many features in Moomoo that can benefit me such as News, Paper Trading, Institution Tracker, Heat Map, Company profiles (financial, analysts rating, valuation etc) and they are provided with no extra cost. I also need to thanks many of my Mooers friends whom I learnt from their experiences. If you are not sure which group chat to join, I suggest you start from "Learn Premium Group". The friendly admin and mentor is @Invest With Cici .
Positive mindset
I realised that trading strategy that worked for one may not be suitable for another; strategy that worked in the past may not worked in the present due to change in the market conditions. The best way is to have a positive mindset and I found the importance of understanding and managing risk. I'm sure many heard of diversification and dollar cost averaging (DCA) but not many know how to do it properly.
Bottom line
There are many tools to help me make investment decisions (including how to let them go) - fundamental analysis, technical analysis and market sentiment (analysts rating, unusual options activity, short selling etc). My attitude towards such investment tools is know your risk, keep it simple (KRKS).
