[Code Hints at Samsung (SSNGY) Launching Smart Ring for XR Devices]
On November 12th, news surfaced that a ring gesture string for glasses appeared in the latest version of Samsung’s Galaxy Ring Manager app, suggesting that the Android giant is attempting to use a smart ring to change the interaction of XR devices, providing a new approach for the industry.
From a technical implementation perspective, the difficulty of implementing this feature is relatively manageable. On the hardware level, the Galaxy Ring’s inertial measurement unit (IMU) and pressure sensor can accurately capture the movement trajectory and force changes of finger joints. Combined with the computing power of the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip in the Samsung Galaxy XR, low-latency gesture data transmission and parsing can be achieved.
On the software side, Google’s customized Android XR operating system for Samsung inherently reserves interfaces for multi-device collaboration, providing system-level support for ring gesture adaptation.

This allowed users to hear other languages and have them translated into their native language via speakers. Currently, this feature is standard on all Meta smart glasses, supporting translation between English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
[Alibaba (BABA) Quark AI Glasses Officially Launched on November 27th, Shipping in Early December]
According to news on November 13th, the Quark AI Glasses launch event is officially scheduled for November 27th. Previously, the glasses were available for pre-order on the Quark Smart Devices Tmall flagship store, with a starting price of 3999 yuan. Shipping is expected around early December.
As Alibaba’s first self-developed flagship dual-display AI glasses, the Quark AI Glasses S1 boasts several proprietary technologies. It not only features dual flagship chips but also employs dual-optical-engine binocular display with adjustable display position (front/back, up/down).
Furthermore, the product innovatively adopts a dual-battery, replaceable battery design, allowing users to replace batteries simply by removing the temples. Quark AI Glasses S1 integrates Alibaba’s Qwen’s most powerful closed-source model with Quark’s AI capabilities. Beyond basic functions like calls, music playback, photography, and voice prompts, it’s deeply integrated with core ecosystem applications such as Alipay, Gaode Maps, and Taobao, covering high-frequency application scenarios like payment and navigation.
[Tesla (TSLA) Prepares to Expand Texas Gigafactory, Aiming for 10 Million Optimus Humanoid Robots Annually]
According to reports, Tesla is preparing to further expand its Texas Gigafactory, building a dedicated facility for the mass production of its Optimus humanoid robot. Currently, Tesla has established a pilot production line at its Fremont, Northern California factory, assembling some Optimus prototypes, aiming for an annual production capacity of 10 million units.

[Meta Ray-Ban Meta System Update, Supports 1080P 60fps Recording] Recently, Meta released the v19.2 system update for its smart glasses. Key updates include: device integration with Garmin devices and access to data such as motion and heart rate; support for 1080P 60fps recording, with the maximum video recording time increased to 5 minutes. It is understood that in addition to the new products released this year, the Ray-Ban Meta to be released in 2023 will also unlock these new features.
[WiMi Releases Next-Generation Hybrid Quantum Neural Network Structure Technology, Breaking Through the Bottleneck of Image Multi-Classification!] In the wave of cross-development of artificial intelligence and quantum computing technologies, application areas such as image recognition, pattern classification, and visual understanding are undergoing profound changes. However, pure quantum neural networks (QNNs) are still difficult to directly apply to complex multi-class image classification scenarios, as they have significant limitations in terms of trainability and high-dimensional data encoding efficiency.
To address this challenge, Wimi Hologram Cloud Inc. has reportedly launched a hybrid quantum neural network architecture (H-QNN) for multi-class image classification. This technology organically integrates the spatial feature extraction capabilities of classical convolutional neural networks (CNNs) with the high-dimensional nonlinear mapping features of quantum neural networks (QNNs), forming a novel hybrid structure with stronger generalization ability and computational efficiency in multi-class classification scenarios.
In fact, WiMi’s extensive experimental analysis revealed that both current mainstream quantum image classification algorithms have significant limitations. One method relies on principal component analysis (PCA) to reduce the dimensionality of image features and then encode angles, but the model performance rapidly declines as the number of classes increases; another method attempts to embed quantum neural networks (QNNs) into classical convolutional structures, but the gradient vanishing problem remains prominent in multi-class tasks.
Therefore, WiMi proposes a new hybrid framework aimed at establishing a more efficient connection between classical feature extraction and quantum feature mapping through structural optimization and the introduction of transfer learning strategies. The design of this hybrid quantum neural network (H-QNN) follows the principle that classical methods are responsible for abstraction, while quantum methods are responsible for discrimination. The system comprises three main modules: feature dimensionality reduction and encoding, quantum state transformation, and hybrid decision-making and transfer learning.
Looking to the future, WiMi’s quantum intelligence will not merely be a theoretical concept, but will be deeply integrated with deep learning, computer vision, edge computing, and other fields, becoming a crucial driving force for the development of an intelligent society. This will bring quantum intelligence from the laboratory to the real world, allowing quantum technology to truly serve industrial upgrading and the expansion of human cognition.
[Snapchat (SNAP) and Perplexity Reach $400 Million AI Partnership Deal] Snap and AI question-answering engine provider Perplexity announced a partnership this week to introduce conversational AI search functionality to Snapchat.
