$Droneshield Ltd (DRO.AU)$ P/E 280+, loss making, no fundamentals at all except threads & internet news. Catastrophic Insider Signal : CEO Oleg Vornik: Sold entire $49.5M stake (14.8M shares), Director Peter James: Sold $12.4M, Director Jethro Marks: Sold $4.9M, total insider exodus: $66M+.
This is the single most bearish signal possible. Management with full information visibilities just liquidated at these levels. Why would retail investors buy what insiders are dumping?
Most common reasons for leadership team to dump in full scale : (1) major investors withdrawal inminent & they knew about that, (2) leadership team to be fired / replaced by major shareholders (PE behind), so leadership team conducts retaliation sell-off, (3) fundamental tech pr business failure inminent - insiders know about a mission critical & business critical issue is coming up & will destroy their core competitive advantage.
Regardless, calculate its fair value and decide how much it actually worths, before reconsidering your posiition.
