Gotta love the market "rationality"

$Main Street Capital(MAIN.US)$ just issued their quarterly financials last night. Across the board they beat last year's numbers. Across the board they beat analyst's expectations. They raised their dividend yet again. The result today? The stock is down 2% on a flat market day...
But dividends? According to some those will lower the stock price by the amount on ex div date because while the market is not perfect in anything else, on that it is perfect.
