the problem is there's no net asset value because you're investing in private companies aside from SpaceX which gives employees the ability I believe it's three times a year to sell their stock back at a predetermined price all of the other investments are completely illiquid and it's a guessing game as to what the value is it's an arbitrary number that's assigned until they go public you have no way to know the true net asset value

you're missing my point you do not know what the net asset value of the portfolio is that you've invested in it might only be worth $2 per share $5 a share there's no way to determine the value I mean the real value in it is SpaceX at the top of the list and open ai. and neither has any intention of going public at all not at any point in time has it been mentioned about going public
