Good is the Enemy of Great
Good is the enemy of great.
For so long we have been okay with mediocre returns and trades. For so long we have thought the best we could do was get lucky from time to time and try to make it in our own small way while the Wall Street Beast continued to gobble up money and get richer and richer as they have for decades and especially since 2008.
If this week has taught us anything, it is that good is not okay anymore. We retail investors have the capacity to be great, have great returns, and do it consistently day in and day out.
It does not happen by accident. In life, we often get what we deserve. We still have to study, be disciplined and work to grow in our knowledge. We are either growing or we are dying, is a tree, so is grass, and so is our investing.
Be great.
