but I agree this is a bigger problem it's a bigger problem for Elon musk's businesses it's an enormous problem for FSD because all president Trump has to do is say you know what he tells one of his staffers that he's concerned about the death of that elderly woman several years ago as a result of FSD and maybe the national transportation safety administration should dive into it and make sure that that type of thing is not going to happen again and as long as it takes to thoroughly investigate it and then if it's a year or two years that's perfectly acceptable we just have to protect the people in the United States.
elon's fucked and when FSD goes no place and you get a reporter that asks president Trump directly on camera in the oval office did he have anything to do with the investigation that's going on he'll just say I have no knowledge of it what is going on he'll play dumb because he has plausible deniability number one number two as president he is afforded the right to lie to American people under national security that usurps everything.
so Elon Musk really fucked himself all of his companies and every shareholder yesterday royally and I think a lot of shareholders are going to be done with him to be quite Frank I think that as optimistic as people are what the future potentially might bring I think they're going to go fuck it I don't need a CEO the buttheads with the president of the United States because if I got a pick and choose I'm siding with President Trump and I think most American people do which means Elon Musk is fucked and same with Tesla at that point in time

so president Trump obviously understands this and Elon Musk went completely out of bounds I mean he went to the extent of yelling fire in a movie theater as far as I'm concerned yesterday no different than being on an airplane and saying I have a bomb and then he tries to recant it and says I have a bong... this is a huge problem and you're right Trump is maybe in time going to keep the government funding for SpaceX but he's not going to forget what Elon Musk said because it's extremely damaging and even if time heals wounds between these two the Democrats have all the ammunition that they need to win the midterms at this point

people go from breathing a sigh of relief to oh shit this is going to carry over I'm not buying this and holding the stock over the weekend because I can't sell until 4:00 a.m. Monday morning or if you're like me at Fidelity where they fuck you in 7:00 a.m. is your earliest time that you can sell another bone and contention I have with fidelity... so this politico report until different news comes out which it may or may not is going to take the wind out of the sails of Tesla stock
