💎From $30 to $2.8 — My Journey of Conviction😉
👉 Mbattman:“ how many shares are you holding? also if you dont mind me asking what other stocks are you investing in?”
👉Me:Many years ago, I first bought $OPEN around $30.
At that time, I even hired professionals to help me choose stocks — that’s how much I believed in this company.
Later, I had an accident and needed money.
I didn’t want more pressure, so I sold my shares.
Not long after, it climbed all the way to $39 — that moment stayed in my memory ever since.
Then one day, by coincidence, I saw online that the stock had dropped to $0.5.
I didn’t even recognize it was the same company.
By then, I had already deleted all my trading apps and stopped following the market completely.
But eventually, I saw how unfairly the market was treating this company — that’s when I started researching again, digging into everything I could find.
Honestly, I have to thank Eric Jackson — even though I used to dislike how he kept criticizing the old team and CEO.
If it weren’t for his bold statement — “This stock will be worth $82 one day” — I might never have realized it was the same company I once owned.
So I started buying again.
The first time I went all in, the stock had already climbed to $2.8.
Then it rose to $5, dropped back to $3.5, and I bought more.
After that, I just kept adding little by little — saving some pocket money, cutting unnecessary spending, and buying every time it pulled back.
Step by step, small but steady. 💎
As for how many shares I hold — that’s a secret. 😉
Even my family doesn’t know.
I want it to be a big surprise someday, especially for my kids — a gift for their future. ❤️
I don’t own any other stocks, because I’m not really a trader.
I’m just someone who puts my whole heart into what I believe in.
Like how I care for my cats, my flowers, and my garden — everything that belongs to me, I treat with love and attention. 🌸
I’m a perfectionist — I tend to give my best in everything, sometimes even to the point of exhaustion.
But that’s just who I am.
I always try to find meaning and value in what I do, turning every effort into something joyful and purposeful.
That’s my attitude toward life.
So for me, $OPEN isn’t just an investment — it’s a journey of faith, patience, and conviction.
Even if I can’t directly help the company, I’ll keep doing my part to support and protect it — because belief itself is a form of strength. 💎

fibrobro : Is putting all of your eggs in one basket the best idea? not even Eric Jackson puts all of his eggs into open door.
I'm happy you've done well so far, but what's wrong with diversifying?
Xiaoya Chen OP fibrobro : I get it — most people diversify.

But sometimes, conviction means going all in on what you understand best.
That’s how real wealth is built — not by spreading thin, but by standing firm.
For me, $OPEN feels like my long-term savings account, not just an investment.
Every dip is simply another deposit — steady, patient, and full of belief
