🚀 First Options Win in Sep P/L Challenge! 🎉

I just scored my first ever options trade victory on moomoo and it feels fantastic! I closed an $Oracle (ORCL.US)$ put option on Sept 18, 2025, and banked a cool +$63 profit. 😄 As a total newbie in the options world, seeing that green P/L (and the cute moomoo bull celebrating it) just makes my day.

I used a simple strategy combining moving averages and macro analysis. I noticed ORCL hitting a key moving-average resistance on the chart. With all the talk of a potential Fed rate cut soon, I expected some volatility. 📈 So I took a modest put position for Oracle Put $280, and with the Fed rumors hit the news, ORCL dipped just enough to let me exit with a profit. It wasn’t rocket science – just a timely setup and quick action. 😉

This win is proof that even as a beginner I can apply technical analysis + macro factors to catch opportunities. I’m learning options step by step, and this trade was a great confidence booster! I’m stoked to keep testing and learning as I go. I’m optimistic that the Fed’s upcoming moves will keep markets volatile, giving us more chances to trade. 🚀

So Mooers, what about you? Have you caught any cool trades anticipating Fed volatility? Any other newbies here learning the options ropes? I am trying to master the game with small capital. Let’s share tips and stories below! 🔥📣
