1. Opening Accounts and Depositing Funds in moomoo MY
To open an account: Click on this link https://j.moomoo.com/00JlEE, hit "Open Account", and submit the necessary info. Approval usually takes 1 business day, max three, and you'll be notified by email once it's done.
To deposit: you can deposit funds via Bank Transfer. App>>Account>>Transfer>>Deposit Funds>>Bank Transfer, only available in MYR now. For USD, you can use the "Currency Exchange" feature in moomoo.
2. Trading on Moomoo MY
Trading categories: USD assets include US stocks and ETFs; MYR assets include MY stocks, ETFs, REITs, and Structured Warrants.

Fractional share trading: Currently, only MY stocks are supported for fractional share trading. For odd lots less than a board lot, head to the Stock page, click "Trade," and select "odd lot order" in the Order type.

3. Account Types and Operations in moomoo MY
The account type currently available is a universal margin account. Universal means one account for both the US and MY markets. Margin differ from cash accounts as it allow margin trading (US stocks only). If you prefer not to use margin, you can just place cash orders.
The same rules apply to US and MY stocks: trades are T+0, meaning you can buy and sell on the same day; settlement is T+2, meaning funds from sold positions are available after settlement.

After you have made the deposit, go back to the activity page to claim the reward, the system will send it to your account within 1 working day, check it in My Rewards. Maintain RM500 funds for 30 days to activate the cash coupon for use in trading.
