1) Low-cost automobile production is likely to be realized by the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025.
2)Robotaxi is called “Cyber Cab”.
3) Approximately 35,000 H100 training GPUs have been installed, and 85,000 will be installed (!) by the end of the year. No longer limited by GPUs.
4) Recent layoffs would save $1 billion a year.
5) Compared with the fourth quarter, 4680's production increased by 18-20%.
6) Optimus is able to complete factory tasks in the lab. Optimus expects to complete the mission at its own plant by the end of 2024. Limited production at the end of 2024, and Optimus is likely to start selling at the end of 2025.
7) Robotaxis/FSD's regulatory path is improving, and state governments are rapidly approving autonomous driving for street use.
8) In the future, driving is like taking an elevator. When you get in the car and press the button, the elevator will take you to your destination and drive completely automatically.
9) Tesla will own some Robotaxis, operating as “taxi services,” some of which will be owned by Tesla owners.
10) The $25,000 car will be further discussed at the 8/8 Robotaxi event.
11) Cybertruck increased its weekly production by 1,000 vehicles, facing challenges such as supplier inventories. Production is expected to increase further in the next few months.
12) Negotiations are ongoing with a major car manufacturer for an FSD license.
13) Semi-trailers still face some difficulties in increasing production capacity, but the situation will improve over time. Semi-trailers are still being supplied to Pepsi.
14) FSD is not transferable between vehicles.
15) Elon spent most of his time at Tesla. He has no plans to leave the company anytime soon and hopes Tesla will “thrive” after he takes office
16) Sales in 2024 are expected to be higher than in 2023.
17) “If you don't believe Tesla can solve the problem of autonomous driving, you shouldn't invest in this company.” — Elon
18) Elon dodged questions about 25% ownership. He said shareholders have the right to vote. He expects Tesla to solve the problem of autonomous driving with or without him (!).
19) As soon as free cash flow increases, Tesla will consider a buyback.
20) Other car manufacturers are very interested in FSD licensing; they just want to make sure this is 100% correct autonomous driving (no lidar, etc.).
21) OEMs may take another 3 years to launch FSD-enabled cars. A license agreement may be reached soon, but car manufacturers need to make products that can use FSD.
22) It is predicted that free cash flow will increase significantly after a few quarters.
23) Other countries/markets are about to approve the FSD, and governments are open to it. China mentioned this in particular.
24) The first quarter was one of the worst in Tesla's history. Factory fires, Red Sea attacks, Cybertruck sales plummeted, etc. The team expects things to be much better in the next few quarters.
25) Tesla plans to become a true leader in artificial intelligence. The team believes the infrastructure is in place.
26) Compare FSD/Autonomy to AWS. No one would have thought that AWS would be the most valuable part of Amazon.
27) Buying a Tesla has become too complicated. Hopefully, the new process will allow buyers to buy Tesla in less than a minute.
28) Elon believes that without personally using the latest version of FSD, people can't understand where the company is headed.
29)Mr. Martin Viecha has passed away.
