They are proposing a bonus issue of 1 warrant for every 5 shares at an exercise price of $0.15 for each warrant into a new share.
The company will get $31.1 m as proceeds to be used towards capital expenditure for yard development, general corporate and working capital purposes.
Question: The company already has $185m so why do they need another $31m?
This may not be well received by the market.
They stop their quarterly announcements so no Q3 update.
They already have money and yet need some more money.

bullrider_21 : Warrants have dilutive effect. Dyna-Mac said it's to reward shareholders for their loyalty and support towards the company. Trading liquidity will increase. I think the shares are quite liquid already.
According to Maybank report, the company holds a net cash of some $128.5 million. Dyna-Mac has reiterated its ambition to acquire other companies, especially those that can help beef up its recurring income stream so as to cut down its reliance on project-based work. Management may reward shareholders with more dividends if there is no M&A activity.
