Does TLS have potential?
I am a novice and new to investing but have looked at Telstra and can't see why at such a low price when it seemingly will always be a market leader raking in cash. Anyone explain to a newbie what I'm missing? $Telstra Group Ltd(TLS.AU$

151434626 : Hi Tolkki, I'm a simple man but I've have a material position on Telstra. Fundamentally, I assess Telstra as undervalued, and you've no doubt seen a lot of analyst price targets all at $4 plus. One of the few logical explanations I've had for it being low is that globally telecos often get held as a bond substitute. This is quite pronounced in Australia as its an income portfolio darling. With interest rate cut expectations moderating this seems to have hit the price in the short term. Though I'm happy with the strategy and fundamental value to have bought recently. Also like today's announcement on some restructuring and guidance affirmation (market won't like it but that's short term thinking), liking what CEO Brady is doing overall, a good medium to long term play. Not financial advice by the way, just the views of a simple man
