Report: Iran proposes a long-term multi-phase ceasefire, with the possibility of unconditionally transferring enriched uranium to Russia

According to Al Arabiya TV, the latest Iranian proposal shows that Iran hopes to reach a long, multi-phase ceasefire agreement. Iran requests the gradual and secure opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran agrees to a long-term freeze of its nuclear program, rather than complete dismantlement. Iran can unconditionally transfer enriched uranium to Russia instead of the United States. In addition, Iran hopes to formulate political wording for the agreement to preserve its 'face'. Meanwhile, Iran wants Pakistan and Oman to play a role in any friction in the Strait of Hormuz. The proposal also indicates that Iran requests economic facilitation measures to replace compensation and hopes to separate the complexity of maritime routes from nuclear issues. Finally, Iran seeks multiple international guarantees for any potential agreement.
