Direct Israel-Iran attacks are reportedly 'over'

There will be no more direct state-to-state attacks between Israel and Iran, CNN reported on Friday citing an unnamed "regional intelligence" source. The official said the direct strikes are "over" but did not provide further information to support the claim.
Earlier on Friday, anonymous US officials confirmed to the media that Israel carried out a strike in Iran in retaliation to Iran's attack on Israel. Iran's attack was itself a response to Israel's strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus earlier this month.
