Delta shares gain 2% as airline cuts profit estimates
$Delta Apparel(DLA.US$ shares rose more than 2% before the bell after the company cut profit estimates due to rising costs.
The airline said it now expects adjusted earnings to range between $1.85 and $2.05 per share, down from a previous estimate expecting between $2.20 and $2.50 per share.
The company joins American Airlines, Spirit Airlines
and Southwest Airlines, among others, that have trimmed their outlooks and warned of higher costs cutting into profits.
