DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))

DeepCharts Counter: 2
DeepDive Counter: 9
Date: 2/2/2024
Introduction
Good morning Everyone! It's been a while since we posted an actual artical, but the wait is over! Welcome back to The Market. Your source of Market analysis found execlusively on MooMoo and now Medium!
It's been a long time since we talked, so I hope everyone is well and gearing up for the next trading month. We have been incredibly patient and disciplined in not taking any sizable trade as we wait for February where I think I will finally take a long term position in crypto.
If you haven't already checked out the Medium page, you can do so here.
I post all of my DeepCharts and DeepDive's here in one place for others to refer to instead of having to scroll through MooMoo. Although I need to update it with my previous articles, I want to thank everyone for their continued support as we continue to grow larger as a figure within MooMoo. I hope to continue to serve as a valuable resource to all regardless of trading or investing experience.
What Is Today's Article About?
To show my gratitude for over 700 followers and daily support through likes, views, comments and all those who share my articles / research, I will be doing what NO ONE ON MOOMOO HAS EVER DONE BEFORE.
There is a lot of gatekeeping when it comes to trading in the stock market. A lof of information is either saturated to the point of being indistinguishable, or simply impossible to find in the way one wants / needs.
I am here to try and bridge the gap between helpful information and uninterpretable information by putting my pride to the side and showing my charting setups.
For this article, I will be showing my MooMoo charting setup, but first let's talk about the Podcast!
Podcast
As of this moment, I have been offered to have my own show, and to join a group of Mooer's in a podcast about the current movement of the markets. I am incredibly greatful for the opportunity to speak to a large audiance here on MooMoo. That being said, there is a posibility I will accept the offer once I get more information about them. If the podcast ends up going through we will be talking about:
-Market movement
-Market sentiment
-Micro and Macro economic trends
-Charting
-Research
-Trading and Investing
And a whole lot of other information all about markets. Stay tuned for any updates and I look forward to working with MooMoo and other investors within the markets.
THE CHARTS
Alright, chances are you have skipped to this part and although I encourage you to read the previous sections, I don't blame you for wanting to get right down to the point. So let's waste no time and talk about how I like to view the markets.
Multi-Stock Quotes
I have two seperate chart sections I like to look at when I am deciding when to take a trade.
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
As well as
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
The reason I chose to make pages of these charts is because they have the greatest potential to move markets. Since I trade the Spyders more than the Q's, I don't look at $Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)$ as much. However, if you are daytrading I recommend you include the QQQ and SPY chart together as they have the possibility of following eachother or leading one another.
How To Make The Charts
1. You need to have the "Trade" button enabled. You should already have it enabled to the left hand side
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
2. My color is the standard Japanese trading format, but you can change it to show a Blue line graph in settings under Appearance
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
3. When you click the Trade button, what you will probably see by default is the "Securities Trading" tab. That's okay because we are going to create a new blank page
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
Look up at the top to see which one you have, but it doesn't matter if you have different tab than Securities Trading.
5. Click the + button
6. You will be met with a page that probably looks like this
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
7. The two options I usually choose are Blank Page and Multi-Stock Quotes. However for simplicity, we will be choosing Blank Page
8. When you select the option you are now shown a blank page and the tab might be called "New Tab 1" or "New Tab". That doesn't make a different because we will be changing the name anyways
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
9. Up in the top left, there is an icon of a Toolbox. Click that and this window will appear
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
10. Within the Toolbox, make sure you are on the General Tab
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
11. Scroll down until you see "Charts"
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
12. Select "Charts" and a window like this will appear
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
It might not be the same size, but you can change that based on personal preference.
13. Now what you can do is continue to click Charts a bunch of times (I have 6 charts per one page), or you can go one by one. I am going to click "Charts" 5 more times to total 6 charts. DO NOT CHANGE THE TICKER SYMBOL ON ANY OF THE GRAPHS YET. THEY WILL ALL CHANGE AT ONCE. WE WILL TALK ABOUT THAT ON STEP 17
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
14. Now distribute the charts across the page and adjust the size however you want to
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
16. Click on the edge of the charts to adjust the size. However, I like to start from the top right to the bottom left
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
If your chart goes off the page like this, you can drag it up by clicking the title bar and bring it up
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
Adjust the size however you like. If you want them to be the same size, you can format it like that too
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
If you don't want the charts to snap into place, click the Magnet icon on the top left
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
Once you are finished organizing them in however way you want, your page should look like this
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
17. Now lets adjust the tickers
First, click the Chain button on one of the charts
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
Select a number
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
I am going to choose the number 1
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
Once you chose the number, chose a different number for all of the other charts
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
I changed the numbers from the top right to the bottom left
18. Now you can change the ticker symbols and the other graphs won't change with it. Click the box with the symbol in it and type in the ticker. No $ sign is needed
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
19. Right Click the tab name and choose "Save As Template"
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
20. Give your template a name. I am going to name mine "Big Tech 1". Then click save
21. Look at the tab again, the name should have changed
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
Congradulations! You have now created an INCREDIBLY useful page to view multiple stocks all in one area. It is SO helpful to do this because if you are getting serious about the markets, it is absolutely vital to be able to view multiple charts at the same time to observe their behavior and how they move the market. Not just that, but it is also useful to view your positions. You don't need to chose the tickers I did, you could choose the stocks you currently hold or anything else.
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
What is great about this feature is you can now copy the template into another page if you want!
All you need to do is
1. Click the + button again
2. Select "Big Tech 1"
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
3. When your page appears, change the tickers to something else. The formatting will be the exact same
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
4. When you finish choosing which symbols to view, click "Save As Template" again and rename your template as something else. I am going to choose "Big Tech 2"
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
5. Click "Save" and now you have two seperate tabs with the same charting format you like. You can also change any of the symbols however you want, create more pages and anything else!
DeepCharts Part 2 ((MY CHARTING SETUP + PODCAST?) (The Market))
I cannot even BEGIN to explain to you how helpful it is to have graphs like this whether you are thinking about taking a position, are already in a position, watching your position, thinking about exiting a position, learning how to notice trends, observing what is moving the market, figuring out if there is a possible reversal in markets, and so so so much more. The more you watch the charts, the more you learn.
Of course you should not be watching the charts every day and every minute of your life, but using this setup to look at the market will help you now and forever. I can have this page chilling off to one monitor, and focus on specific chart on the other. Together I can see a bunch of stocks at once while focusing on my position in another stock, or maybe one of the stocks on the charts. I really cannot tell you how incredible this has been for me.
I might not be the first person who uses the Trade feature like this, but I am definetly the only person who is telling you how to set it up as the Trade section is not specifically meant for viewing charts alone. It's meant for trading in high frequency, viewing your positions, trading options and a lot more.
However, I use it to view how the market is moving. Especially when there is economic news, earnings, or simply observing the markets. You can even click the tab and drag it to another monitor to view even more of your charts all at once.

Conclusion
I want to thank everyone again for all the continued support. Your likes and comments inspire me to continue doing what I do and I enjoy every second of it.
When it comes to charting, I don't only use MooMoo, I also use TradingView. However, I will write about my TradingView setups in another article as it would take far to long to explain how I set everything up over there. I might even need to create a video about it because there is a lot of specific settings that I have changed in order to setup my charts.
Let me know if you want to see my tradingView setup by liking this post!
To be clear, I am not saying these charts will make you money. That is not my intention. My intention is to show you how I view the markets, stocks, and other instruments. You may certainly lose money, so consult your personal advisor before taking any trades, take a look at your personal finances and do your own research before even thinking about entering a position.
At the time of writing, there is no way to chart in this way for $Bitcoin(BTC.CC)$, $Ethereum(ETH.CC)$, $Polygon(MATIC.CC)$ or any cryptocurrency as this is technically a trading feature and MooMoo has yet to offer any crypto trading. I have spoke with @Mooers Lab about adding an additional feature to MooMoo which allows you to setup charts like this for cryptocurrencies and hopefully that update rolls out soon.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Good luck in markets and I apologize if I cannot get to all your messages in my inbox. I will try to do a better job at responding to any questions you have and feel free to reach out to me anytime. You can also add me to group chats, all communication is welcome.
Thank you for reading and all the support
