$DBS Group Holdings(D05.SG$ I want to buy DBS stock worth SGD 70k. Any advise to buy it ? there are two options which o can think of 1) put 70k single day 2) buy in 10k tranches muliple days (may be need to pay more trade commission) . any thoughts or advise ?

dydxequalszero : For 70k worth of stocks the fees will be about $60. If you buy in batches of 10k, it will also add up to about the same amount. The difference won’t be much.
unfilteredtruths : Usually I would recommend to invest 10k x 7 - basically buy in at all the dips and your cost will average out. But since this is a bank stock where the focus is on dividends and not the stock price, you can just buy in one shot 70k. <--- assuming you're keeping long term (5-10years minimum).

101754615 : If you have SGD70K, you might consider using half SGD35K to buy in now (approx. 1,000 shares) to get the bonus 100 shares (no odd lot) on Apr 22. Then use the remaining SGD35K to buy in again after price drops by 10% after bonus issue. DYODD.
