$DBS Group Holdings(D05.SG$ I don't understand that if 100 shares give 10 shares back 10% of the stock price today, isn't that equivalent to buying them yourself??

上杉丶達也 : A cake used to cut 10 parts; now a cake cuts 11 parts
TS94 : Although you see that the stock price is $34.070,
+10% for every 100 shares before the actual distribution is now $37.477.
You'll understand by the 30th when you find out that your stock has increased but the bookkeeping cost has decreased.
Maxx tanOP : OK, thank you
beaver Queen TS94: did u buy? after bonus will the price b lower. thanks
TS94 beaver Queen: Of course. I always increase my positions after paying dividends; I don't want to be working at 55. You only live once, work your whole life, don't let yourself go for nothing.
beaver Queen : fully agreed. wise decision
JOMATE TS94: Hi hi, can share if just a couple, how much dividend is enough for 55 retirement. we will take off with the CPF life when reached 65.
TS94 JOMATE: Everyone wants to retire differently, so the amount they need is different. I can't represent everyone. But at most, it is more than the amount the CPF starts calculating (RA) 6% interest at age 55. Retire using dividends at age 55 (equivalent to 10 years early retirement), because not everyone can live past the age of 65Personal thoughts
TS94 TS94: If you live to age 65, congratulations (dividend+RA 6% interest)
