DBS Bonus Share is confirmed
$DBS Group Holdings(D05.SG$ The Board of Directors of DBS Group Holdings Ltd (“DBSH”) refers to the announcements dated 7 February 2024 and 9 February 2024 (together, the “Announcements”) in respect of the proposed bonus issue of new ordinary shares in the capital of DBSH (collectively, “Bonus Shares” and each, a “Bonus Share”) on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share to be credited as fully paid for every 10 existing ordinary shares in the capital of DBSH (“Shares”) (including treasury shares) held as at a date and time to be determined by the Directors for the purpose of determining the entitlements of shareholders (the “Shareholders”) to the Bonus Shares, fractional entitlements to be disregarded (the “Proposed Bonus Issue”).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, subject to Shareholders’ approval of the General Mandate (as defined in the Announcements) at the forthcoming annual general meeting of DBSH, the Transfer Books and Register of Members of DBSH will be closed at 5.00 p.m. on 23 April 2024 (Tuesday) up to (and including) 24 April 2024 (Wednesday) for the purposes of determining Shareholders’ entitlements to the Bonus Shares under the Proposed Bonus Issue.
Duly completed registrable transfers of Shares received by DBSH’s Share Registrar at 9 Raffles Place, Republic Plaza, Tower I, #26-01, Singapore 048619 up to 5.00 p.m. on 23 April 2024 will be registered before Shareholders’ entitlements to the Bonus Shares are determined. Shareholders whose securities accounts with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited are credited with Shares as at 5.00 p.m. on 23 April 2024 will be entitled to the Bonus Shares on the basis of the number of Shares standing to the credit of their securities accounts as at 5.00 p.m. on 23 April 2024.
The Bonus Shares are expected to be allotted and issued on or around 26 April 2024 and listed and quoted on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited on or around 30 April 2024.
