The Dow Jones, the S&P 500, the Nasdaq all fell, and only the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose. Rising:
The Dow Jones index fell 375.12 points, or 0.98%, to close at 38,085.8.
The Nasdaq fell 100.99 points, or 0.64%, to close at 15,611.76.
The S&P 500 fell 23.21 points, or 0.46%, to close at 5,048.42.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose 88.84 points, or 1.96%, to close at 4,615.04.
