Previously, I held more than 100 shares of Tesla, wanted to sell covered calls to earn premiums while the stock was free falling, but not sure how to execute it. If I am already holding 100 shares of Tesla, do I select 'single option' sell call? or do I select 'covered stock' sell call? Thanks in advance.
Albert Mm EnjoyTheProcess: just "sell call", "covered stock" will force you to buy another 100 shares, if thats what you are willing to do :). Once the order is accepted, your shares will be combined with the call sold to form a "covered stock".
