COE below S$20k, would you buy a car in Singapore?
Hello Mooers!
Some Mooers are forced to buy a car due to their work requirement or work location, while other Mooers may have the choice to take public transport to work if their workplaces are easily accessible to public transport.
Having a car is undoubtedly convenient for Mooers since it eliminates the need to wait more than eight minutes (https://www.statista.com/statistics/1232840/singapore-average-waiting-time-during-commute-trip/) for public transport or deal with bunching, which occurs when two or more of the same service number arrive at the same time.
If given the option, would Mooers buy a car if the COE dropped below S$20k, as it did from 2006 to 2009? Please come and share your thoughts, and also participate in the vote below.
That's all for today, and always remember to DYODD (Do your own due diligence) when making any kind of investment.
Thank you and Godspeed!

CSLoh : Public transport in Singapore is excellent. Owning a car in Singapore is a waste of money. I would invest the money rather than owning a car
