$Cipher Mining(CIFR.US)$ I was able to sell off some shares between $4.90 and 4.99 in the first 30 minutes of pre-market and dropped my diluted cost from 3.61 to 2.17. I'm interested to see what goes on with this specifically, (obviously, lol) but also $Bitcoin(BTC.CC)$ in general with the halving rapidly approaching and the recent movements in some major whale wallets which had been untouched for over a decade in some cases. It's an exciting time!!

  • 102586028 : I sold mine at $5 last week. Any idea why this is bullish? Thought with the btc halving, miners tend not to do well?

  • Tonyco 102586028: After halving, it will take more resources to extract coins. I'm guessing at the rate firms seem to be eating up coins, eventually we gonna be waiting on these guys per block.

Think of them like the oil companies at the dawn of industrialization. People are pretty sure this black goo will be amazing, but not entirely convinced. Perhaps a look at their growth will give an insight on when to expect a surge.

  • Tonyco : I should also mention, the BTC miners that will succeed will probably be the ones utilizing the most nature-friendly energy.

What people don't want a repeat of, to borrow my Oil example, is a more fucked up planet. So governments will promote longevity.

I think with BTC you should think of it more generational than a quick buck
