Cautious
It appears to me that investors are still adopting a cautious approach despite a positive PCE index and speech from Powell.
Form the another angle, it can also be said that the market has already priced it the potential 3 rate cuts that Fed is planning; and since the PCE didn’t change much of that, the market was muted on Monday.
On a side note, take note of these:
- Tesla is reporting their deliveries numbers on Tuesday.
- Powell is scheduled to speak again on Wed - at the Stanford Business, Government, and Society Forum.
