$Canopy Growth Corp(WEED.CA$ Why would Democrats push reforms just before the elections if it had no chance? The last thing voters would remember is they failed again.
Some will say that's just virtue signaling and they will blame Republicans. But that's shooting yourself in the foot vs. just doing nothing and hoping voters forget about previous failures.
If I were a Democrat and I knew cannabis reforms were going nowhere, I'd want to bury this topic during elections, not putting spotlights on the failure. Why overpromise and underdeliver again?
What if they know something big is coming and it's a coordinated effort to make cannabis an electoral issue they can take a win on?

73099470 : Because if it was looking like a tight race you would put a seed out there that if a part of the population wanted something the only way they would get it is if they voted back in the democrats whether they follow through or not there is a hope.
