Buffett likes dividend stocks, no?

Hello Mooers!

Did you know that Berkshire Hathaway's top six holdings ( $Apple(AAPL.US)$ , $Bank of America(BAC.US)$ , $American Express(AXP.US)$ , $Coca-Cola(KO.US)$ , $Chevron(CVX.US)$ and $Occidental Petroleum(OXY.US)$ ) accounted for over 80% of its total portfolio? Also, these are dividend stocks that pay dividends every quarter , and Mooers would have received USD 1,276 in 2023 if Mooers had purchased 100 shares in each of the six stocks!

Besides the U.S. stocks that Buffett invested in, Buffett also invested in Japanese stocks (*1), such as $ITOCHU(8001.JP)$ , $Marubeni(8002.JP)$ , $Mitsui(8031.JP)$ , $Sumitomo(8053.JP)$ and $Mitsubishi(8058.JP)$ . All of these Japanese stocks paid dividends twice a year , and if Mooers had invested 100 shares in each, Mooers would have received JPY 59,633 in 2023!

Like what Buffett shares with us, this quote from him is one that shaped my investment strategies, and that is: 'We all hope for capital gains, but the only thing we can really count on is the dividend.'. With the dividends collected, I can DCA (dollar-cost averaging) on my current stocks or cover some of my daily expenses .

Hmm... I wonder if Buffett would visit Singapore sometime in the near future. Also, I'm curious what Singapore equities Buffett would buy if he were a Singaporean. Will Buffett be interested in investing in these Singapore stocks , such as Singapore Airlines ( $SIA(C6L.SG)$ ), the three Singapore banks ( $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SG)$ , $UOB(U11.SG)$ and $OCBC Bank(O39.SG)$ ) and the Mapletree REITs ( $Mapletree PanAsia Com Tr(N2IU.SG)$ , $Mapletree Ind Tr(ME8U.SG)$ and $Mapletree Log Tr(M44U.SG)$ )?

Lastly, in which stock market do Mooers believe Buffett would likely invest in the next two years? Please come and share with us.

We have come to the end of today's topic. Remember to show your support by follow, like , share and comment on this post and as always, don't forget to DYODD (Do your own due diligence) when making any kind of investment.
