BABA's Tmall Registers 60% More New Merchants in 1Q24
Tmall, a subsidiary of $BABA-SW(09988.HK$ , announced its store opening figures for the first quarter of this year, in which new merchants grew 60% year-on-year. Among them, outdoor sports, smart home, health care, fine pet care, trendy clothing and fine skin care are the popular categories this year.
Meanwhile, the number of new merchants shot up 100% year-on-year. As the first choice for brand management and merchant creation, Tmall posted new merchant transaction volume spike by 150% in the first quarter compared with the same period last year.
