By the end of 2022,
I embarked on this small-account challenge with a modest capital of $10,000, aiming to grow it by at least fivefold within 30 days. My approach was simple yet disciplined—primarily focusing on trend following, volume breakouts, and news-driven momentum entries. I only executed trades with clear risk-reward parameters and consistently employed strict stop-loss orders to safeguard my small account.
Throughout the challenge, I meticulously documented every trade and shared screenshots of my profit and loss, entry and exit points, along with brief analyses for each position opened or closed. These records helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses.
During this process, I experienced winning streaks as well as sudden drawdowns. However, every trade taught me valuable lessons about discipline, emotions, and timing. This challenge prompted me to think more rationally and avoid overtrading.
Overall, it has been a meaningful journey. I can clearly see my progress reflected in my charts and shared results. I hope my experience will inspire others trading with small accounts—consistency and patience are more important than the size of the capital.
