Hi everyone, I’m Michael McCarthy, a market strategist and the CEO of Moomoo Australia and New Zealand. I started working in financial markets more than 40 years ago, beginning as a booking clerk on the Sydney Stock Exchange trading floor.
Over the years I have traded every asset class, and specialised in derivatives since 1993. Through these decades the markets moved from pencil and paper to pixels, share markets were opened to individual investors, and new industries were created while others faded away.
Looking back over 2025, it is clear we are experiencing extraordinary market conditions. Record highs for shares, gold and cryptocurrencies mean many investors have enjoyed strong returns. Md Moinuddin Ansari : Hello sir with due respect. As crypto balloon has now been burst due to it own volatility which was his special power point in nature to attract 10x 00x 1000x levereges lover. Those people who want 10x 100x now learn the lesson that it is not so easy to get unhypothetical return in quick time.. My question is what are chances of money which already in crypto market will flip back to us equity as they now understand in near future crypto will not make any new high in near to long term... if 25% erode from crypto now as it is possible because 95% people are in leverage even with 1 stroke or 2 or three sell they all vanish... so in the near terms can we see Nasdaq can double from here in next 3 years sir.
