Asia stocks rise on Wednesday amid Wall Street rally

ASIA markets on Wednesday (Apr 24) tracked overnight gains on Wall Street.

Singapore’s $FTSE Singapore Straits Time Index(.STI.SG)$ gained 0.6 per cent or 20.41 points to 3,293.13. Across the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 405 to 205, after 1.9 billion securities worth S$1.5 billion changed hands.

$DFIRG USD(D01.SG)$ was the biggest gainer on the STI, rising 4.3 per cent or US$0.08 to US$1.93.

Meanwhile, $Jardine C&C(C07.SG)$ was the biggest decliner, falling 1 per cent or S$0.26 to S$26.38.
