Apple Event Summary - New iPhone and Apple Watch!
$Apple(AAPL.US$Apple revealed the newest additions to its smartphone and smartwatch lines. Unexpectedly, prices mostly remained unchanged except for the iPhone Max.
iPhones: Apple introduced the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Prices start at $799 for the iPhone 15 and go up to $1,199 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Preorders begin on September 15, with general availability starting on September 22. A major change is the adoption of USB-C charging ports - finally one can charge Macs, iPads and iPhone with the same cable. Additionally, the Pro models are equipped with Apple's fastest 3 nanometer chip - A17 Pro Chip.
Apple Watches: Apple also launched the Apple Watch Series 9 and the premium Apple Watch Ultra 2. Prices range from $249 for the Apple Watch SE to $799 for the Apple Watch Ultra 2. A standout feature is the "Double Tap", allowing users to interact with the watch using gestures. The watch can also record health-related data like sleep patterns and weight.
