Anyone Understand Guidance?
$LUFAX(06623.HK$ $Lufax(LU.US$ Did anyone understand their guidance? I understood that new loans are performing to expectations and am glad that they cut back on new loans. I understood that they expect to go to insuring all of the loans and I think, but ultimately do not know, that this is a good idea. I understand that loan provisions will go up as they move to guarantee loans.
What I do not know is how servicing income is going to move in future quarters (it has to be down) and what their long-term performance will be at lower generation rate. I suppose that is probably due to the fact that they really don't either which I guess is fine as no one knows what ratio of bad loans will be in future but they could have provided a little more detail on what fixed/variable costs are.
I'm going to continue to hold but I'm not prepared to say that they should not, if possible, just sell the loan servicing rights/obligations off and just liquidate. As I don't think it is possible, I'll just have to wait.
How is that for a few random thoughts! Investing is risky.

Albert Loh : run away from china stock, rather to buy bitcoin
DreamyLucid : Lufax is a PingAn Group microlending arm. To me, I just hold at this prices. The risk-to-reward is too attractive. I won’t bet against China for the long term, so definitely is a long term hold.
