Broadcom Drops After Earnings, as Its AI Chips Are Doubted. What's Next?
AMD dropped 3.33% yesterday on AVGO contagion and the Trade Overview on moomoo confirms it was broad-based institutional selling, not just retail panic. Net outflow of $166.59M with outflow exceeding inflow across every single order tier — XL ($115M in, $136M out), large ($245M in, $251M out), medium ($440M in, $455M out), and small ($777M in, $902M out). The donut chart makes the imbalance obvious at a glance with the green outflow percentages slightly but consistently larger than the red inflow percentages around the entire ring. What I really value about Trade Overview is how it organizes all this data hierarchically. You get the headline net flow number in the center, the visual percentage breakdown on the donut, the exact dollar comparison bars by order size, and the intraday cumulative chart — all without scrolling or switching tabs. The money flow graph shows the overall line dropping steadily from open and ending deeply negative around negative $170M. The extra-large flow line also went negative midday. Lisa Su is ramping production and AMD still has a Strong Buy consensus, but this week the flow says step aside. AVGO contagion plus NVDA RTX Spark competitive pressure makes this a wait-and-see. Trade Overview confirmed that call in under a minute.
