I do not have an AMC theatre near where i live. But I am traveling so today for the first time in a very long time, I got to visit an AMC and see a flick.
My ticket was free with my Stubs account, and my wife’s was half off since it was Wednesday. And we got a combo that came with a huge tub of popcorn, more than the 2 of us could eat, a ridiculous sized soda, and a bag of candy. We paid less than 34USD, and it was an IMAX showing. Even without my Stubs account, a regular price ticket would still not have changed the fact that it was a super cheap date.
I do not buy the argument that movie theatre experiences are overpriced. I hope they open a location near me.
