idk why anyone pays attention to movie theater stocks. Like the drive-in before it, cinemas are a sunset industry. As a result of conservative policy since the 80s, wages have stagnated for so long now that average Americans are priced out of going to them. It would cost me almost $100 for a family of 4 to get tickets+food/beverage for one movie. I can stream it for a monthly fee and nowadays they are released simultaneously. Why would average consumers do this when groceries cost over 300usd a week
