EV Stock Performance Q1 2024 Comparison in US
$Tesla(TSLA.US$ $BYD COMPANY(01211.HK$ $NIO Inc(NIO.US$ $XPeng(XPEV.US$ The article reported that while the S&P 500 index climbed over 10% in Q1 2024, the majority of EV stocks declined by double digit percentages over the period. In this graphic, we’ve visualized the Q1 2024 performance of 10 prominent pure play EV companies. Pure play in this context means companies that only focus on electric vehicles.
My take: This is a much fairer comparison because they are all EV stocks. Tesla stock performance is not that bad (down 29.5%) compared to other EV stocks. It didn't include BYD because the company is not listed in the US stock exchange as EV stock. $Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US$ , $NIO Inc(NIO.US$ and $XPeng(XPEV.US$ were down 48.1%, 46.6% and 45.3% respectively.

ZnWCOP Mc168: I explained it in the post. This comparison is only for EV stocks in US exchange. But you can check $BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)$ in HK exchange performance YTD using Google finance.
