Alibaba Cloud Implements Tech Premium with International Price Cut
Alibaba Cloud, a subsidiary of BABA, recently unveiled a new pricing strategy for international customers, slashing the prices of its public cloud products by an average of 23%.
Leo Liu, Vice President of International Business at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, described the price reduction as a technology premium offered to customers following iterative updates to underlying technology, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.
Liu emphasized that Alibaba Cloud's price cuts are not conducted at a loss but rather represent positive behavior aimed at garnering promising feedback from customers.
