Announced everything at the same time as earnings
Declared dividends when there is no dividend policy. Baba's policy on no dividend is a no nego policy. Delivering long term value is their goal yet this changed with no resistance after management was ousted out.
next plan should be to delist. at least from US markets. Baba is now CCP's. why will they want Baba to have any western links?
why will they pursue ipo for spin offs only to cancel it? and to cancel it at earnings? because earnings will have the most attention. hammering the share price is one of the early moves to make when it comes to voluntary delist. it makes the buy back so much cheaper

102319027OP 1st of the 10 trades: don't think it will get delisted. both companies are different at the end of the day. one becomes ccp asset while the other is free to act. my take is that baba will be delisted in the coming days. you are free to have your own opinion on a company that you are no longer invested in
