102559790 : I kind of think a group of fund managers and media were ganging up to spin the story that china is not investable...china may have played into the game or the gang just seize on whatever opportunity. for instance, when gdp announced seems good, the Western media harp on weak economic fundamentals to continue to dismantle the stock prices. china can pop up A shares. but their H shares in hk were continued to sell down. can't remember a time the difference in pricing between A and H shares can be as high as 30%. they managed to scare away funds. now there are report that funds started to add weight to china stocks and it may be a long process as chiba economic fundamentals on job, wages and consumer spending see no fast improvement. Baba is just one among many. see Fitch downgrade on Baba and Tencent...and see if it was even rational. but downgrade has impact to buying sentiment. anyway, I could be too tired and started spinning conspiracy theory...haha.
