$Alibaba(BABA.US)$ back in 2020, I was given a choice to invest big on Alibaba or Solana. I chose Alibaba because I understand the business better and what it is truly worth. Fast forward 4 years later, I would have earn millions had I sticked to investing in Solana coin rather than Alibaba. But I have 0 regrets because for sure I know Alibaba has an intrinsic value tagged to it, but in crypto there is no intrinsic value tagged to a coin. It's valuation are all speculative and they are classified as a non productive asset. However, buying Alibaba as a stock means you are hiring the best brains in China to help scale their business further, develop the latest tech, and using these expertise to increase the valuation of Alibaba business. Meaning to say you are a business owner of Alibaba in short. So why sell an asset that still produces profit and not loss making? That is something I don't get about people who see Alibaba as a speculative asset.
