TikTok will not be sold, Chinese parent tells US
TikTok's Chinese parent company ByteDance says it has no intention of selling the business after the US passed a law to force it to sell the hugely popular video app or be banned in America.
"ByteDance doesn't have any plans to sell TikTok," the company posted on its official account on Toutiao, a social media platform it owns.

Jaguar8OP Jhperez: Yes. If this will really be the stance of TikTok’s parent company, then per the bill signed into law by US recently, without selling of China stake to U.S. will result in total ban of Tiktok. Why would it be beneficial for this stock? Triller, the company AGBA is merging with is a competitor of Tiktok and is reportedly second globally after Tiktok. Remember though that the possible ban is only in U.S.. Tiktok is worldwide.
Jhperez : Well we all know it’s political here so if it gets ban here then the trend will continue with all usa allies. So that’s also great news I assume for this stock
