It doesn't matter if Tesla cuts prices; the current drivers are actually all helping Musk collect data for free. The more data, the faster research and development, so it's better to achieve autonomous driving as soon as possible. The biggest risk is the decoupling between China and the US; I don't think it should be that fast. If such an extreme thing actually happens, instead of worrying about Tesla, it's better to worry about family and friends in your home country.
