5.8%pa promo countdown
Hi, I subscribed to the fund on 1/10 for the 5.8%pa promo. I saw returns only on 4/10.
So when does the 30 days countdown start? Do I start earning returns on 1/10 subscription date?

103923878 : 1/10 Sun is non trading day hence your subscription was then processed on 2/10 Mon. Returns generated on 3/10 Wed and P&L viewing avail on 4/10 Thur. I believe Promo starts counting from 3/10.

104501806OP 103923878: Tks. I hope so, coz base on the number of days left indicator is from 1/10, so it could be subscription date. I only saw return on 4/10, didnt see any bigger back payment for that week.
Dadacai : Your first day for the 5.8%pa promotion starts on 1 October although your subscription does not earn the normal yield yet. The extra yield is not credited during the 30 days. Pls read the terms and conditions.
104501806OP Dadacai: Tks. I do understand that the compensation to 5.8pa is after 30days. By bigger back payment, I was referring to returns 1/10 to maybe 3/10 (much like crediting of weekend trades on every Tuesday). But then I saw the countdown clock is counting from 1/10. Anyway, I called customer service & confirmed that 30 days is from 3rd Oct when the units are established not from subscription date.
Dadacai 104501806OP: Hmm I communicated with customer service a few times on this and was told differently. It is also stated in the TnC that the first day is the day you subscribe (not the day the units are confirmed). Look for “When does the 30 days begin?” —>Moomoo SG Welcome Rewards - September to October 2023-moomoo Help Center But yes, you won’t get any yield from the fund itself until the units are established.
104501806OP Dadacai: Hmm ... then that's a really big question mark. I called their phone hotline. The cso did not confirm immediately but called me back some time after checking. If countdown starts from subscription date, then no new user will be able to get 30 days full (starts only T + 1 ) which does not make sense(u need to participate in promo b4 subscribing to the first fund & can't do the reverse). I was also told by the offline promoter that free shares clock start on subscription date but for 5.8pa it is when the fund starts return. I got confused when I saw the countdown clock, so doubt creeped in. The hotline cso gave a even more precise date which is the day u see ur number of units. Can any moomoo personnel reconfirm this?
