2023 Yearly P/L Review
1. What is your fund investment strategy for 2023? Which funds did you invest in?
I was heavy on money market fund $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF$ as it did well in a high interest rate environment and there is no foreign exchange risk. It helped to hedge some of the losses in my reits.
2. How did your fund investments perform? Were there any surprises or disappointments?
I am quite happy with the returns from the Cash Plus fund.
3. What is your outlook on fund investment for 2024? Will you be making any changes to your portfolio?
When interest rate hikes abate, the yield on money market fund will also decrease. I expect to use some of my free cash to buy stocks.
