How 15-Minute BTC Markets Actually Work — The 3-Minute Version

A 15-minute $Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ contract asks one simple question:
Will BTC end this 15-minute interval above its starting price?
New contracts are created every 15 minutes, for example:
15:00–15:15 → 15:15–15:30 → 15:30–15:45 → 15:45–16:00
Each round has a Target Price, which serves as the reference price for that interval. When the countdown ends:
Settlement Price > Target Price → Yes (Up) wins
Settlement Price < Target Price → No (Down) wins

In the example above:
Target Price: 63,290.33
Current Price: 63,298.53
Time Remaining: 7m 18s
The market shows:
Yes 65% / 1.54x
No 36% / 2.78x
The percentages reflect the market’s current pricing of each outcome, while the multiples show the approximate payout if you hold to settlement and are correct.
For example:
$100 on Yes → Yes wins → about $154 total payout, or ~$54 profit
$100 on No → No wins → about $278 total payout, or ~$178 profit
If you hold to settlement and your side loses, the contract may settle at zero, meaning the full amount staked can be lost.
You don’t have to wait for settlement
This is the key part: Yes and No can also be traded before the 15-minute round ends.
Suppose you buy Yes at 65%. A few minutes later, BTC moves higher and Yes rises to 80%.
You can sell at 80 instead of waiting for settlement:
Buy: 65
Sell: 80
Price gain: 15
Measured against the selling price:
(80 − 65) ÷ 80 = 18.75%
So you can realize a gain before the final outcome is known.
Likewise, if Yes falls after you enter, you can sell early to limit the loss rather than holding all the way to settlement.
That means a 15-minute BTC prediction market can be used in two ways:
Hold to settlement and trade the final outcome, or trade the changing market probability before expiry.
To follow a round, focus on five things:
Target Price, Current Price, time remaining, Yes/No probability, and the corresponding payout multiple.
