💰How you can get free money - My favourite moomoo features and quick portfolio update
Hey Mooers!
What a rollercoaster past two months it's been! A quick update on my portfolio - it's finally back green after enduring a 34% drawdown YTD.
With this recent rally- I'm taking the opportunity to slowly unwind from my positions to eliminate my margin usage and accumulate more cash for when the next opportunity comes. (Trying to follow Warren Buffet and fight the urge to be greedy when everyone else is greedy, too)
On to the main topic....
There are some moomoo features that I use daily without fail... and one of them makes me free money! I'll start with the most basic one
Feature 1: Market overview
I absolutely love the UI of the market overview in the world map- it gives me an instant picture of how the world markets are doing with a single glance. Very helpful if you are like me who owns equities in multiple markets.
Feature 2: Thematic Batch Trading
Thematic batch trading something that I've recently discovered on moomoo, where you can trade batches of stocks in your chosen theme, be it Nuclear stocks, Warren Buffet or Nancy Pelosi. They even allow you to proportionate your capital allocation based on your own preference. So with a few clicks you can have the exact same portfolio as Buffet holds... pretty cool!
Feature 3: Task Centre and Rewards Club
This one is my favourite as it's a literal cash machine- though it might not be available in all the countries that moomoo is in. You can complete tasks in exchange for points- which many are not difficult!
What you can then do is exchange these points for goodies! Personally, I like to go for stock/crypto/cash coupons-
In my past 3 years of active use of moomoo, i have probably netted in excess of 100USD doing so. How can you say no to free money?![]()

151737576 : I also agree that Task Centre and Rewards Club is one of my favourite features but I learnt the hard way that you are better of keeping your sign in streak so you can get a bonus reward every 7 days. I am so curious if you get more guides by being more active on the platform as well because most days I only get 2?
Moonsoir Francois OP 151737576 : You're right! the sign in streak is totally easy to maintain. The task I get most points from is completing 10 options trade in a week, which nets me 3000 points.
