What investment opportunities might pop up during earnings season?
First things, we've got to keep our eyes glued to $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ ! Their earnings report is dropping on April 22nd, and it's gonna be huge!Because I'm a die-hard Tesla fan myself![]()

So what's actually worth watching in Tesla's earnings? To be honest, I think there's nothing particularly exciting to look out for. Why do I say this?
Tesla's global deliveries for the first quarter reached 336,681 vehicles, which represents a 13% year-over-year decrease. This falls short of the market expectation of 390,343 vehicles
The biggest thing to watch with Tesla right now is when Musk will step away from Dogecoin. This is extremely important! Actually, even Trump's team doesn't need him anymore. It would be best for him to come back and focus on being Iron Man

As for investment opportunities:
I've mentioned before that Moomoo recently introduced a really great feature. It categorizes leveraged ETFs for individual stocks. Even though Tesla's performance hasn't been great, I'm still optimistic about their upcoming earnings report, haha! So, I'll be keeping an eye on the bullish ETFs for Tesla.

Furthermore, if you're looking to set up Tesla options ahead of time, Moomoo offers an excellent feature that can assist you.
You'll find that the expected volatility for this earnings report is surprisingly high at plus or minus 12.4%. If you're considering buying options, remember to pay close attention to Tesla's IV (Implied Volatility) situation for options in the next two weeks. This is extremely, extremely important!

Checking the volatility analysis is also very simple. You can open the relevant options and take a look to find out. I see that the IV hasn't started to rise yet, but I estimate it will surge significantly about two trading days before the earnings release. Just a reminder (the market is closed this Friday!!!)

My advice here is, if you're really not confident, buying leveraged ETFs would be better. If you're very confident, you can do single-leg options or bull call vertical spread options, which is also a very good choice, hahaha.
Besides Tesla, several other companies will be releasing their earnings reports in the coming weeks. For example, TSMC this week, followed by the 'Big Seven' US stocks, all of which are very important. Tencent's earnings are on May 14, and NVIDIA's on May 28, which are also crucial dates. If you don't know how to find this information, you can check the earnings calendar, which is very helpful. I strongly recommend it!

Besides focusing on Tesla, I think MSTR's recent performance has been quite good as well, quietly returning to above $300 per share. NVIDIA has also been performing well; I was previously down 20%, but now I'm starting to make money! $Strategy (MSTR.US)$

Let me talk about the future market opportunities I'm optimistic about. There are two Chinese concept stocks that deserve special attention.
The valuation is very cheap. Although it's a stock affected negatively by tariffs, it's still a highly competitive company!
Core investment logic:
We can understand Pinduoduo as a company with no debt, holding 331.5 billion in cash, annual profits of 112.435 billion, and a current market value of 900 billion.
If we deduct the cash, it's 568.5 billion. Assuming zero growth in net profit, it would take about 5 years to recover the investment.

On April 23rd, the new electric vehicle i8 will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. This car is crucial for Li Auto's future development. It's a make-or-break moment for Li Auto!
Another interesting point is that Li Auto has 112.8 billion in cash on its balance sheet, while its current market value is 187.4 billion. I'm quite bullish on this company because the announcement of the new car provides room for market speculation :)

Lastly, I want to talk about how WeBull has been rising crazily recently. It's clearly been hyped up too much. There's also a company called AMTD Digital, whose market value at one point exceeded that of Alibaba!

I think Webull's market value is now:
Half of Interactive Brokers (IB)
About 1 Robinhood
2 Futu
20 Tiger Brokers
It's clearly overvalued, but without the means to short it, I've chosen to just watch the show, haha!"

Handiyanan : love the breakdown on TSLA’s IV and ETF plays!
But wait—PDD’s cash-to-market cap math got me hyped. Do you think it’s a sleeper pick even with tariff risks?
Keiith : MSTR quietly bouncing back to $300+ while NVDA saves portfolios?
You think it’s too late to jump in, or is this just the start?
KingNY-Life : The Earnings Reports will not be good.
LoneBone : I like your enthusiastic take on things and the openness you show, not the norm in stock market with all the “alpha” dogging and big opinions, puts off the vibe of a creative type which I mean as a compliment for sure. I hope you dont mind, because this curiousity is real and no shade, I would love to know how your view of TSLA and EM started and evolved, how you still feel positive about it all.
you can probably guess I’m not a fan, no, not at all, and I just thought I’d ask. You seem chill and I promise there’s no disrespect in this and this could be interesting if you even even cared to listen, I would as respectfully as I could explain my views on the man the myth the company ha ha, I just have so many questions. Cheers.
